She started riding at the age of seven and began her career in dressage at age 10. In 1993 Gayle rode as a member of the USDF Young Rider Team, winners that year of the silver medal. After her success with Young Riders, Willy Arts offered Gayle the opportunity to be a working student at DG Bar Ranch. Willy is known internationally for his expertise in all phases of dressage training. After that intensive year, Gayle made the decision to become a professional. Since then she has continued her dedication to become the outstanding rider, trainer and instructor that she is today. Gayle has trained many horses and riders that have distinguished themselves in local, regional and national competition. Among some of Gayle’s many accomplishments are the following awards and credentials USDF L Program Graduate USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist Diana Preisco Mink Award Recipient Janet Jackson Scholarship Recipient DASC Trainer of the Year 2007 Young Riders Silver Medal Gayle is an experienced and successful trainer with horses of all ages, breeds and dispositions, including stallions, from young horses through FEI. Her clientele range from competitive dressage riders to those just starting dressage. She also helps eventers and hunter/jumper riders to improve their flatwork through a dressage base. One of Gayle’s main goals is to facilitate a strong, successful partnership between horse and rider. In the peaceful and professional environment of the beautiful Circle GP Ranch, she will structure for you an individualized training program that will assist you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself and your horse.
